Three Podiums, One Weekend!
The past week was a solid one with a 3rd, 2nd, and a victory!
In Louisville (as seen below) at the NRC LMPF Waterfront Park Criterium, the five-man contingent managed a podium by way of Nick Frey. Soladay and Frey both made the key break of seven, which eventually lapped the field. Myerson led out Frey for third place behind a very fast Hilton Clarke from Toyota-United.
The next day, it was all TIME, as the leadout was done to perfection and Myerson came through with an impressive victory over the powerful Texas Roadhouse squad. Soladay's great leadout was still good enough to see him to 6th on the day.
Back home in North Carolina, Jon Hamblen has been racing great - he has finished 1st and 2nd over the past two weekends. At the East Coasters Criterium in Blacksburg, Virginia the ingredients for a Hamblen romp were all there, namely: a hard, technical course. Hamblen was up to the task and stormed to the win.
One week later at the Davidson County Community College Road Race, Hamblen got away with Jeremy Conn (Hincapie), and Bobby Sweeting (Toshiba) from the gun and the trio never looked back. The gap eventually grew to almost five minutes. Sweeting came out on top with Hamblen in 2nd.
The team is readying itself for a huge series of crits in the upcoming few weeks, starting with the next stop on the USA Crits Series this weekend in Boise and then the Crossroads Series in North Carolina the week after - culminating with the Presbyterian Hospital Classic and our hometown NRC event: the Hanes Park Classic.
