A Great Weekend

The TIME Pro Cycling U23 Performance Camp was a huge success this weekend in North Carolina. 20 motivated riders came out to ride hard, learn, and make some contacts for the future. We'll have much more on the camp later in the week, but by all accounts, it was a fantastic weekend.

Up the road a bit in Wilmington, Delaware, a six-man squad contested the Bank of America Wilmington GP. Jon Hamblen made the crucial break of 12, and nearly made the move that would have netted him the win, but had to settle with 7th on the line. Behind, in the field, the team mounted an organized chase because the team was not happy with the odds up front, so all except one put their heads down and chased for most of the race and nearly brought back the race. The catch didn't quite happen, but the presence was felt by all.
